The U.S. has allocated Ukraine an additional $500 million in financial aid

U.S. President Joe Biden has announced the allocation of an additional $500 million in financial aid to Ukraine. The funds will go directly to the country's budget.

 

"We are also showing support for the people of Ukraine. Today we are ready to allocate an additional $500 million in direct economic aid to the government of Ukraine. As a result, the total amount of economic assistance has reached $1 billion for the last two months", - he said.

 

Earlier, it was reported that the United States intends to provide an additional $500 million in immediate funding to help Ukraine continue important government operations such as salaries, pensions and other programs needed to avoid a worsening humanitarian situation in Ukraine.
