Against the background of failures on the front, Moscow started "cleansing" the leaders of the "LPR" - intelligence

Against the backdrop of failures on the front, Moscow began "purges" of the leaders of the so-called "Luhansk People's Republic". The Russian Federal Security Service has already arrested "LNR Interior Minister Major General" Igor Kornet. This was reported by the Main Department of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"According to the information received by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, "LNR Interior Minister Major General" Igor Aleksandrovich Kornet, born on April 29, 1973, is arrested by Russian FSB officers and is currently held in the FSB detention facility in Rostov on Don," the report said.

As noted, the arrest of the "LNR interior minister" caused a negative reaction from the security forces and the political leadership of the "republic", which assessed it as the beginning of changes in the power block of the quasi-state.

"However, on the part of the head of the 'LNR' Pasechnik L.I. all efforts are being made to release Kornet from arrest and reinstate him in his position," intelligence informs.

Ukrainian intelligence reported that the plan to mobilize 26,000 "reservists" from the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions into the ground troops of the Russian Federation was actually disrupted.
