Zelensky discussed Ukraine's post-war recovery with IMF director

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed preparations for the post-war reconstruction of the country together with the director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva. The president stated this on Twitter.

"We discussed with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva ensuring Ukraine's financial stability and preparing for post-war reconstruction. We have clear plans for now, as well as a vision of the prospects. I am convinced that cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF will continue to be fruitful," Zelensky said.

 Georgieva thanked the president of Ukraine for the conversation.

"Thank you Volodymyr Zelensky for a very good call today. Constant economic support from Ukraine's partners is essential to laying the foundations for rebuilding a modern, competitive Ukraine," she wrote.

The IMF is preparing to rebuild Ukraine after the war.
