The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has described the operational situation on the fronts at the beginning of the 54th day of Russia's war against Ukraine. The Russian Armed Forces are completing the creation of an offensive grouping in the Eastern operational zone.

The enemy also does not stop rocket and bomb strikes on critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.
In the Volyn and Polessk directions the enemy did not conduct active operations, no signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected. Determined units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to perform tasks to cover the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in Brest and Gomel regions.
The enemy conducts electronic reconnaissance in these areas. The removal of damaged armored vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces by rail from the territory of Belarus is recorded.
In the Seversk direction, the enemy maintains intensified control of the border areas. Engineering work continues in the areas of checkpoints and in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions of Russia. The use of sabotage and reconnaissance groups and missile strikes from the territory of the Russian Federation is not ruled out.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the Russian occupants continue to partially blockade Kharkiv and attempt to carry out a fire attack on our troops' units.
In order to expand the bridgehead on the left bank of the Seversky Donets River and create conditions for the operational deployment of troops, the enemy conducted reconnaissance combat in the areas of Zavody, Dmitrovka and Dubravny. It was unsuccessful, suffered losses and withdrew.
In the Donetsk and Tavrichesk directions the enemy restores combat effectiveness and resupplies. It is trying to improve the tactical position of its units and intensify combat operations. The Russian occupants continue shelling Seversk and Pokrovskoye settlements.
The enemy concentrated its main efforts in the areas of Liman, Kremenna, Popasna and Rubezhnoye. The occupants are trying to establish full control over the city of Mariupol. The enemy carried out offensives in the Severodonetsk, Popasna and Zaporizhzhia directions.
The enemy unsuccessfully tried to gain a foothold in the areas of Kreminna and Rubizhne. It carried out assault actions in the areas of Novotoshkovskoye, Popasna, Avdeevka and Marinka. It had no success either.
In the South Bug direction, the enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the positions it occupies, continues to carry out a firing influence on the positions of our troops in the direction of Mykolaiv and Aleksandrovka.
It is expected that the enemy will continue to conduct combat operations in order to reach the administrative boundaries of the Kherson region.
A total of 87 battalion tactical groups of the enemy are involved in carrying out combat tasks on the territory of Ukraine.
On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions defenders and defenders of Ukraine in the past 24 hours repelled 12 enemy attacks, destroyed 10 tanks, 15 units of armored and 5 units of automotive equipment, as well as 5 enemy artillery systems.
