In Melitopol, the occupants stole money for pensions and subsidies

In temporarily occupied Melitopol, Russian occupants stole funds from the post office. They were intended for the payment of pensions, social assistance and subsidies.

This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.

"The aggressor troops, encroaching on the pension and social funds belonging to the citizens, violate their right to peaceful ownership of their property and leave the citizens of Ukraine without means of subsistence, provoking a humanitarian crisis in the occupied territories", - said the ombudsman.

Denisova called the occupiers' actions looting and war crimes. She called on the UN Crisis Coordinator in Ukraine and the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide humanitarian aid to the residents of Melitopol who are on the brink of a humanitarian disaster.
