Mykhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, commented on Vladimir Putin's statement that Russia has a noble goal - to help people in Donbas. Podolyak published a corresponding message on Twitter .
"Russia declares that its goal in Ukraine is "to protect people in Donbas." Just at this moment, Russian mobile crematoria are burning the bodies of thousands of civilians in Mariupol, the second-largest city in the Donetsk region. Survivors are starving to death. What are you protecting them from? From life?" - he wrote.
Recall, today Vladimir Putin said that Russia's tasks in Ukraine will be fulfilled and called them noble.
Russia claimed their goal in is to “protect people in Donbas”. Right now mobile crematoria are burning people’s bodies in #Mariupol, the second largest city of the region. Those who survived are dying from starvation. What are you “protecting” them from? From life? pic.twitter.com/BT1AfdHPAl
