The North Atlantic Alliance, as an organization, does not plan to supply weapons to Ukraine for protection against Russian invasion. This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba after participating in a ministerial meeting of NATO in Brussels, writes UNN.
"I am cautiously optimistic about deliveries from some allies, but I am not optimistic that NATO as a whole will supply Ukraine with the necessary weapons in the foreseeable future. That could change, but so far I don't see it," Kuleba said.
He explained that NATO, as an institution, encourages allies who want to help, to assist Ukraine.
"That's how it works now. And NATO serves as a platform to discuss such things," the minister added.
