The mayor of Bucha, Anatoliy Fedoruk, said that most of the civilians of the city were killed in shootings during the occupation by Russian troops. That's almost 90%.
The mayor said this in an interview with DW.
When asked by a journalist whether people died mainly because of shootings or as a result of artillery shelling Fedoruk replied:
"Almost 90 percent were bullet hits, not shrapnel hits."
As a reminder, the mayor of Bucha recently reported that at least 320 civilians had been shot dead in the city during the occupation by Russian troops. He added that he personally witnessed the execution of several civilians.
