CNN's editorial team received a drone video from Bucha, shot on March 12-13. It captures the Russian military and their equipment, and next to the bodies of dead civilians.
CNN confirmed the authenticity of the videos taken by the drone. The editorial board did not name the person who provided the material for security reasons. So far, the channel has not published the full video, but only footage and noted that this is the first evidence from Bucha that shows Russian equipment and troops operating in the street.
The video, dated March 13, shows a Kafir military vehicle standing at an intersection. CNN identified three objects down the street from the auto - these are the same bodies seen in the April 1 video and the March 18 Maxar Technologies satellite images.
In addition, the video shows another military vehicle moving further down the street toward the bodies. Video from March 12 captured several Russian soldiers near a military vehicle parked outside a house near the dead residents. It is unclear what they are doing at home.
CNN asked the Russian Defense Ministry, but had received no comment at the time of publication. Journalists note that top Russian officials have repeatedly denied the authenticity of video and satellite images from Bucha showing the bodies of the dead.
