In occupied Melitopol (Zaporizhia region), the self-proclaimed "authorities", under the forceful support of the Russian occupants, began to loot apartments and houses from which the Ukrainians had left. The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said this on the air of the telethon.

"The self-proclaimed "authorities" under the force support of the Russian soldiers are marauding, first they came to the businessmen of Melitopol, went into their apartments, took everything valuable, they did not neglect anything, from TV sets to jewelry. Now they go to apartments from which people have left and loot them, loot," Fedorov noted.

The occupants are also stealing agricultural machinery in order to disrupt the sowing campaign in the region. At the same time, the farmers themselves are not sure whether they should sow now, risking their lives, because the fields are mined, and they cannot be sure that the Russian occupiers will let them harvest.

"They steal the farming equipment that is supposed to harvest, till the land, that's the most important thing for them. The equipment they pull from Zaporizhzhya region, from Melitopol, it is not available for purchase on Russian territory. They want to make it so that there is no sowing campaign. A large number of fields are mined, it requires a large amount of fuel, diesel fuel, today it is not available in the occupied territory. Most importantly, the farmers do not understand for whom they are doing this, they have no guarantees whether they will be able to harvest or not. Everyone has fears that the occupiers will come and harvest the crops, and the farmers will be left with nothing," Fyodorov said.

At the same time, Russian occupiers are not letting Ukrainian men out of the occupied territories.

"Four days ago in Vasilievka, the occupiers began dropping off men at the roadblock. A census of the male population has begun, they are not being served with summonses, but it's all going to happen. They will let them in as a live force, they will not trust them, but they need it, because they have a huge demotivation, they can not cope with our AFU, with our spirit, so they do it," added the mayor of Melitopol.
