G7 ambassadors have pledged to coordinate their efforts with other international partners of Ukraine to support its economic recovery and encourage Ukraine to return to its ambitious path of economic and judicial reform after the war. The ambassadors said so in a statement on Twitter.
In addition, the ambassadors said they will closely monitor reports of potential war crimes and other violations of humanitarian law, and will help Ukraine defend our common understanding of freedom, democracy, the rule of law, and human rights.
As Ukraine fights against Russian aggression and provides for the basic and urgent needs of Ukrainians, the G7 ambassadors will try to support these immediate efforts in addition to the internal reform process, the statement said.
The group will use its network and resources to help Ukraine receive humanitarian and economic support for both short-term needs and long-term development.
Посли будуть уважно стежити за повідомленнями про потенційні військові злочини та інші порушення гуманітарного права, а також будуть допомагати Україні захистити наше спільне розуміння свободи, демократії, верховенства права та прав людини. 4/5
