145 children have been killed and another 222 wounded as a result of Russia's armed aggression in Ukraine, the Office of the Prosecutor General said Wednesday, March 30.
"145 children were killed and 222 wounded during the full-scale hostilities in Ukraine conducted by Russia. Children suffered the most in the Kyiv region - 69, Kharkiv - 49, Donetsk - 54, Chernihiv - 39, in the Mykolaiv region - 30, Lugansk - 28, Zaporozhia - 22, Kherson - 25, the capital - 16, Sumy - 16, Zhitomyr - 15 regions," - indicated in the Office of the Prosecutor General in FB.
It is also indicated that due to the bombing and shelling, 790 educational institutions were damaged. 75 of them were completely destroyed. The worst situation is in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv.
These data are not definitive, as it is not possible to inspect shelling sites in areas of active combat operations and in temporarily occupied territories.
