At night, Russian occupants shelled the center of Kharkiv with Kalibr rockets fired from ships in the Black Sea.
This was said by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Sinegubov in the air of the channel "Rada".
"We have the center of Kharkiv was shelled last night with Kalibr missiles fired from the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. That is to say, it is already coming to us from there as well.
The situation in Kharkiv, one could say, is stable. However, today we have had 44 attacks from artillery, tanks, mortars and so on, and 140 times we have been shelled from multiple rocket launchers. So we already call it a stable situation.
According to the head of the OVA, Izyum remains a critical point in the region. Also in the morning of March 24, the occupants shelled the town of Zolochev, and on March 23, the town of Balakleya.
Sinegubov added that the authorities monitor the situation in the region and try to bring humanitarian aid to these settlements, although it is difficult because the enemy does not give green corridors for delivery.
He also noted that the police in Kharkiv are constantly working - law enforcers monitor the order and counteract looting.
The armed forces, according to the head of OVA, hold the defense and "there is no doubt that the enemy will not be able to enter Kharkiv".
Other problems in the city are gradually being solved: debris is being removed, trash is being removed, and the banking system, particularly cash, is being reactivated.
Recall that as a result of the actions of the occupants in Kharkiv 294 civilians were killed, among them 15 children. This was reported by the communication department of the Kharkiv regional police.
