China is not ready to support the exclusion of Russia from the G20 in response to its war against Ukraine. According to Reuters, this was announced by the speaker of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Wenbin.
He said the G20 needs to continue to cooperate to solve common problems, particularly economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic, and Russia is an "important member" of the group.
"No member has the right to exclude another country. The G20 needs to introduce true multi-vectorism and strengthen unity and cooperation," the speaker said.
