The GUR noted that Putin personally gave the order to carry out another attack to one of the few confidants. All previous attempts ended in failure and liquidation of terrorists.
"The Russian occupiers, having failed to achieve their objectives during the full-scale aggression against Ukraine, continue attempts to destabilize the work of the Ukrainian government, demoralize society, de-coordinate the resistance movement and inhibit Ukraine's international cooperation. The organization of attempts on the first persons of our state is part of the occupants' strategy," the intelligence service said.
The State Intelligence Service added that the Ukrainian army, special services and law-enforcement agencies were well aware of the Kremlin's plans, so no terrorist attacks would be successful.
