Russia has already engaged about 75 percent of its battalion-tactical groups involved in the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This was reported on Twitter by US journalist Politico Paul McLeary, citing a senior official of the US Department of Defense.
According to the journalist, the official clarified that he was referring to 75% of the total number of battalion-tactical groups involved in the full-scale invasion, not the total Russian army. However, these are still significant numbers, McLeary added.
As of March 15, the enemies had lost (been completely destroyed or lost combat effectiveness) up to 40% of their units that had been drawn into Ukraine.
Around around 75% of Russia's total military "is committed to the fight in Ukraine" right now, a DoD official says.
