As noted by the General Staff of the AFU, the state, position and nature of actions of the defense forces have not changed significantly. The Ukrainian defense forces continue to successfully resist the invaders.
"During the day the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions, concentrated its efforts on replenishing current losses, recruiting mercenaries from other countries, solving problematic issues of logistical support for the occupation troops operating on the territory of Ukraine. There was repeated information about the organization of mercenary training centers in the Russian city of Smolensk and the Belarusian cities of Gomel and Bobruisk.
In the Volyn direction, the enemy maintains a grouping to guard the Ukrainian-Belarusian state border. At the same time, there remains a high probability of provocations aimed at dragging the Belarusian side into the occupation forces.
In the Polesie direction, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to break through the defense of our troops in the direction of Guta-Mezhigorsk, Lutezh. At the same time, the occupiers had no success in capturing Makarov.
On the Seversk direction, the enemy is trying to build up a grouping and organize logistical support for the resumption of the offensive against Chernihiv.
On the Slobozhansky direction, the main goal of the enemy remains the encirclement of Sumy and Kharkiv.
In the Donetsk and Tavrichesk directions, the occupants did not succeed near Lisichansk, suffered losses and withdrew. Near Rubizhne, the enemy attempts to gain a foothold on the western outskirts of the city.
It continues to storm the western and eastern outskirts of Mariupol with air and artillery support.
The enemy takes no active action in the South Bug area, trying to hold previously captured positions.
The occupation troops do not have enough time in the main lines of action and in violation of the International Humanitarian Law continue to launch missile and air strikes against civilian objects, civilians and critical infrastructure.
The morale and psychological state of the enemy remains at a low level, which creates additional problems for the occupation command to timely replenish current losses and reinforce the grouping in the areas where the enemy was defeated to the head by the Ukrainian defenders.
