Due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 85 children were killed and about a hundred were injured, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation as of the morning of March 13, 85 children have already been killed and about 100 wounded in Ukraine. The largest number of victims in the Kiev, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Zhitomir regions," the Office of the Prosecutor General said in a message in the telegram channel.

The report notes that the shelling of civilians by the Russian military continues. Thus, on March 11, while attempting to evacuate a civilian car was shot at by the occupants, and as a result of the shelling, a child was killed - a young player of the soccer team of the Athlet soccer school, Dmitry.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, also in the evening of March 11, near the village of Huhurivka. Gusarivka, Izyum district, Kharkiv region, at a roadblock the occupants shot a car, which resulted in the death of a woman and a child.

"On March 12, a family with a 3-year-old child was killed on a road in the village of Gusarovka Balakleya district of Kharkiv region due to the shelling of a private car", - said in the message.



The department informs that due to the bombardment and shelling, 369 educational institutions were damaged, 57 of which were completely destroyed. Most of the damage in the Donetsk region - 119 educational institutions. In the Nikolaev region - 30, Sumy region - 28, Kyiv region - 28, Kherson region - 21, in the capital - 17.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, on March 12 alone, the occupants damaged 11 educational institutions in the Mykolaiv region. In addition, 11 medical institutions and three rehabilitation centers, including those for children with disabilities, were shelled.

"These figures are not final due to the lack of possibility to inspect the locations where the Russian armed forces are actively fighting and in the temporarily occupied territories," the report specifies.
