On March 12, Russian troops fired eight missiles at Vasylkiv (Kyiv region). As a result, the local airfield was completely destroyed.
This was reported by Vasylkiv mayor Natalya Balasinovich.
"Today around 07:00 am the enemy forces shelled Vasylkiv, 8 missiles hit. They shelled the airport, the airport was completely destroyed, the runway was destroyed. The ammunition depot was detonated and they are still detonating because one of the missiles hit the depot. A warehouse with fuel and lubricants was also destroyed," she noted.
As a reminder, it was also reported today that an oil depot near Vasylkiv once again caught fire as a result of a missile strike.
