In Kherson Oblast, they create their own commandant's offices to maintain "order" in temporarily occupied settlements. In the Chernihiv region the enemy suffers significant losses. In the urgent need to replenish units, in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, the occupation troops are even ready to take prisoners into their ranks. This is reported by the General Staff of the AFU.

"The sixteenth day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion has begun. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are giving a decent repulse and deterring the offensive operation of the Russian armed forces in all directions. There have been no significant changes in the position of our troops and the enemy troops in the last six hours," the AFU General Staff pointed out.

"Regarding the actions of the enemy. The aggressive Russian propaganda begins to work actively in the temporarily occupied territories. Disseminating pro-Russian messages, the occupiers are trying to negotiate with the local population," the General Staff added.

"During clashes with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which continue on the territory of Chernihiv region, the invaders continue to suffer significant losses. As a result of them, the personnel of the occupation troops in this direction are demoralized and surrendered", - reported in the General Staff.

"With the acute need to replenish the units of the Russian Armed Forces and other illegally created terrorist armed groups, in the Rostov region, work continues among prisoners in correctional colonies with an offer to join the occupation troops in exchange for amnesty. The RF Armed Forces are ready to take everyone, even those who have no experience of military service," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation noted.
