The Ministry of Social Policy states that a special mechanism for payment of subsidies, benefits and cash allowances in March will be applied in selected cities and districts of 7 regions.
"This mechanism provides for the Ministry of Social Policy to conduct a centralized accrual of cash benefits, allowances and subsidies and involvement of "Oschadbank" to transfer payments to people from settlements where social protection agencies can not work due to active hostilities and provide accrual and payment of such benefits," - said in a message from the press service of the Ministry.
It is noted that at the time of the decision to apply such a mechanism, the inability to accrue was observed in more than 60 cities and districts of 10 regions.
"On March 7-9, social protection agencies in some regions were able to partially resume work and conduct funding of social payments. Thus, on the basis of information from the regions as of March 10, the Ministry of Social Policy has applied the mechanism for payment of cash benefits, allowances and subsidies in some cities and districts of 7 regions", - the statement says.In particular, we are talking about: Donetsk region: Volnovakha, Mariupol districts and the city of Mariupol; Zaporizhzhya region: Vasilievsky, Pologovsky districts and the cities of Energodar and Tokmak; Lugansk region: all cities and districts; Nikolaev region: Nikolayevsky district; Sumy region: Akhtyrsky district within the former Trostyanets district; Kharkiv region: Izyumsky, Kupyansky districts and cities of Kharkiv and Kupyansk; Chernihiv region: Novhorod-Seversky, Priluksky, Koryukovsky, Chernihivsky districts and Chernihiv.
"The Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Social Policy conducts in these cities and districts a centralized accrual of cash benefits, allowances and housing subsidies. Approximately this process will last 3-4 days. After that, funding will be sent to JSC "Oschadbank", which will ensure the transfer of payments to recipients", - stressed in the ministry.
