U.S. President Joe Biden urged Congress to support the $12 billion Ukraine support bill. He said this during a briefing.
"I call on Congress to pass the $12 billion Ukraine Support Act. And the Ukrainian people are showing their courage. They will not allow Putin to achieve his goals, that's obvious," U.S. President Joe Biden said.
He also said the U.S. will provide other assistance to Ukraine.
"But let's protect their democracy, their freedom, their lives. We will give them economic assistance, humanitarian assistance, and security assistance," Joe Biden added.
