Over the past six days, almost 3 thousand trucks have crossed the Ukrainian border and brought 20 thousand tons of humanitarian aid, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.
"On behalf of the government I would like to thank our partners, all the people who are helping Ukraine today. Over the past 6 days, almost 3,000 trucks crossed the Ukrainian border, which brought 20,000 tons of humanitarian aid. This is mostly food, clothing, medicine and medical supplies, which the government is already sending to the regions," Shmygal said in an address Tuesday afternoon.
In addition, he said, more than 10 billion hryvnias have been deposited into an account specially created by the National Bank of Ukraine to support the Ukrainian army.
