Ukraine received a deferral of foreign debt in the amount of 20 billion dollars

Foreign creditors of Ukraine, in order to prevent a default in the country, have postponed payments on the foreign debt by 20 billion dollars. Foreign creditors have responded to Ukraine's request and froze payments on international bonds for two years.

 

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that Ukraine will save nearly 6 billion euros on the payments, which will help the country maintain macrofinancial stability, strengthen the stability of the economy and increase the strength of the army, Rupor reported.
