Ukraine plans to launch national roaming. According to the State Agency for Special Communications, if your operator's network is unavailable, you can switch to the network of other operators.
Test national roaming is launched by operators Vodafone, Kyivstar and lifecell together with the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the National Commission carrying out state regulation in the fields of electronic communications, radio frequency spectrum and the provision of postal services.
How to connect to the network of another operator. All items are mandatory:
Disable automatic network selection
On Android: Settings - Mobile network (or Connections) - Operator
On iOS: Settings - Cellular Data - Network Selection
Find and choose the available network: Vodafone UA, UA-KYIVSTAR or LIFECELL.
If registration failed, try again or choose another network, check possibility of outgoing call, SMS.
Once a day, try to return (connect) to the network of your operator. Manually or by enabling auto network selection.
Charging is kept in accordance with the tariff plan of your operator.
