The Office of the Prosecutor General monitors the conditions of detention of prisoners of war in Russia. Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova said this on Twitter.
"Held a coordination meeting with state and law enforcement agencies on the issue of prisoners of war. We are a civilized legal country, so we take all measures to control compliance with the law in the detention and treatment of prisoners of war," the statement said.
The Russian occupants want to seize another important infrastructure facility - the Kanevskaya HPP dam.
