The grouping of defense forces conducts defensive operations within the Southern, Eastern and Northern operational zones in order to repel the offensive of strike groups of occupant armed forces, to inflict the maximum losses to it, to prevent their invasion in depth, to maintain areas of the state and create favorable conditions for their defeat and restoration of control. of the lost territories, repulses enemy air attacks.
A grouping of combined forces is conducting a defensive operation in the eastern part of the Donetsk operational area. The main efforts are concentrated on defending the city of Mariupol and inflicting fire on the enemy's superior forces.
Other groups are conducting a defensive operation and engaging in defensive battles in the Slobozhansky and eastern Tavrichesky areas.
In particular, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' DShU stopped enemy columns attempting to advance towards Dnipropetrovsk Region from the direction of Balakleya.
In Seversk Region, an operation to defend the city of Chernihiv is under way.On the Volyn direction, measures are being taken to prepare the entire defense belt in a certain operational area along the state border of Ukraine.

The grouping of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine concentrated its efforts on repelling enemy missile and aviation strikes and providing air cover for important (critical) facilities of Ukraine and troop groups.
In total, as of this moment, losses of aviation equipment of the Russian occupation troops amount to 88 aircraft and helicopters.
Some enemy pilots who ejected and survived were found by Ukrainian soldiers. They have been given medical treatment and are already testifying about the Putin regime's crimes against humanity.
