In eight days since the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia has evacuated over 1 million citizens from hot spots. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
As noted, the process of evacuation does not stop neither day nor night. For the transportation of citizens attracted all available rolling stock of the railroad.
The main evacuation flights leave from Kharkov, Zaporizhzhya and Kiev to Lvov, Uzhgorod, Rakhiv and other cities in the west of Ukraine.
Boarding on the evacuation trains is free and takes place in order of priority - children, women and the elderly first, followed by other passengers.
Ukrzaliznytsia asks citizens to remain calm during boarding and help each other if necessary.
