The Russians continue to shoot peaceful Kharkiv and try to destroy the city's infrastructure. However, the local population does not intend to give up. Igor Terekhov, the mayor of the city, told this.
He reported that the occupants bombed the Saltovsky streetcar depot - several new buses and streetcars burned down.
"The enemy purposefully destroys the infrastructure of Kharkiv. They hit substations, turning off the city's electricity, they hit our boiler houses, stopping the heat supply. Beats on residential buildings, destroying Kharkov residents," Terekhov said.
The mayor urged Kharkiv residents not to come out of shelters. He explained that humanitarian aid is coming in large quantities and partly already in the city.
"We will hold on. We will endure this ordeal and we will definitely win. Because this is the city of Kharkiv, we are Kharkiv citizens, we are together and this is the most important thing", - emphasized Igor Terekhov.
