According to the results of the Kharkiv mayoral election, Igor Terekhov was elected the new mayor of Kharkiv, who received more than 50% of the votes. Mikhail Dobkin, who lost to him, intends to appeal the election results.
According to the Central Election Commission, Terekhov received 146 240 votes, or 50.66% of all votes. Dobkin came in second place with 82,008 votes or 28.41%. TECs voted unanimously for a resolution recognizing Terekhov as the elected head of the city.
However, Dobkin himself announced that he would sue. According to him, the voting took place "with gross falsification."
"I do not intend to agree. I'm going to court," he wrote on social networks.
