Ukrainian documents, such as a driver's license or passports, which expire during martial law, will continue to be valid. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The term of validity will be extended to all types of documents - both electronic and paper. Their validity may be extended for another 5 years.
Both paper and electronic documents will continue to be valid. Ukrainians will be able to replace them after the war is over.
Also, the validity of passports has changed: March 1, they may be valid for another 5 years. This was announced by the speaker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko.
"From March 1, the validity of passports of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad will be extended to 5 years. Extension of passports, pasting photographs of the child in the passports of parents or legal representatives are carried out by the territorial authorities, territorial subdivisions of the State Migration Service, as well as embassies and consular offices of Ukraine", - said the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
