Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Kherson suffer most from Russian terror - Reznikov

Many Ukrainian cities and villages suffer from Russian terror, but Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Kherson suffer the most. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said this on Facebook.

"147 hours of defense. The nature of events is changing. The Russian occupiers are trying at least somehow to keep the combat efficiency of their units. But their success is getting worse and worse. This is confirmed by repeated facts of surrender of groups of Russian soldiers with officers. And also refusals to continue the offensive," Reznikov wrote.

The minister noted that in Russia, relatives of prisoners of war and those killed are beginning to come out to protest.

"The total lies of Russian propaganda are giving cracks. The enemy was afraid of direct contact with Ukrainian defenders and defenders. Therefore, it switched to the criminal tactic of remote shelling of peaceful cities. Air and missile strikes from Russia and Belarus on residential buildings and schools, shelling from MLRS - this is cowardly behavior by those who have no honor. These are not the military - they are terrorists, representatives of the terrorist state. And this is a stigma for a long time," Reznikov said.

According to him, the enemy sneakily shelled peaceful Zhytomyr.

"This is out of fright an attempt to avenge the successful performance of the 95th Brigade's task in the OOS. The occupants were aiming at the brigade's barracks and at residential buildings nearby. By attacking the women and children of our soldiers, the Kremlin will not achieve the result it seeks at all. Many of our cities and villages suffer from Russian terror now, but Kharkiv, Mariupol and Kherson suffer the most," Reznikov noted.

Reznikov said he had a lengthy conversation with U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin yesterday.

"Even the experienced U.S. military is absolutely delighted with the professionalism of our defenders and the resilience of our people," the minister noted.

In addition, he said, the amount of aid Ukraine is receiving is increasing. The number of countries that provide this assistance is increasing. Even those for whom it was considered impossible are joining.

"New biraktars have already arrived and become on combat duty in Ukraine. There will be more Stingers and Javelins. Europe is turning into our rear and supplying critical defense supplies. We are on the front line of the free world," Reznikov reported.
