"The Ukrainian choice of Europe is what we aspired to and were going for. So I would very much like to hear from you there today, from you to us Europe's choice of Ukraine," Zelensky said during a video inclusion at an extraordinary plenary session of the European Parliament devoted to the Russian war against Ukraine.
"We have a very motivated people. Very. We are fighting for our rights, freedom and life. And now we are fighting for survival. And that's our most important motivation. But we're also fighting to be equal members of Europe. And I believe that today we are showing that we are. The EU will definitely be stronger with us. Without you, Ukraine will be on its own. We brought our strength, we brought that we are at least as strong as you are. Prove that you are with us, prove that you do not let us go, prove that you are really Europeans," Zelensky stressed.
