Amid the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia continues to evacuate citizens to the western border and is expanding the list of evacuation trains.
"To improve the service of passengers going to the state border of Ukraine with the EU countries, diesel trains have been appointed, which will run on the route Lviv - Kovel - Yagodin - Helm and back," - noted in the message of UZ.
Train # 7614/7615 Lviv - Kovel - Yagodyn - Chelm will depart from Lviv on March 1 at 14:00.
Boarding the diesel trains will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Preference will be given to women, children and the elderly.
Train #45 Kramatorsk-Uzhgorod departed from Liman to Kramatorsk at 8:00. From Kramatorsk is scheduled to depart at 12:00 for Uzhgorod.
"Ukrzaliznytsia" will also hitch additional cars to the train #67 Kiev - Warsaw, to ensure the departure of primarily women and children from Kiev. The train will leave from the Kiev railway station at 19:13.
At the border with Poland, these passengers will be given a special train of Polish wagons, which will take them to Warsaw, where they will be provided with shelter, food and everything they need for the first time.
To meet the demand for all who wish to travel abroad, additional carriages of the Lviv station are also attached to the train number 36 of the message Odessa - Peremyshl.
At 12:40 from the left bank of Kiev will depart Intercity Darnitsa - Lviv.
