As of 8 p.m. on February 24, the enemy continues to conduct full-scale aggression against Ukraine.
At present, more than 60 battalion tactical groups from 90 BTGr have entered Ukraine. The main efforts of the enemy are concentrated in the Slobozhansky, Seversky and Tavrichesky directions.
With the permission of another "fraternal nation" from the Republic of Belarus, demonstration actions are being carried out along the northern section of the Ukrainian state border by Su-25SM aircraft from the Luninets airfield.
The insidious plan of the Russian invaders is already clear. The main goal of the operation is to block Kiev and create a land corridor to the Crimean peninsula and the self-proclaimed DMR.
For this purpose, an airborne tactical landing force has been landed: up to 200 Russian soldiers at the Gostomel airfield.
Another objective of the invader is to damage critical civilian infrastructure, which is regularly hit by missile and aviation attacks.
Fighting is taking place on the outskirts of KHERSON. The enemy is attempting to bypass the city from the east and continue the offensive in the direction of NIKOLAEV. Two missile strikes were launched against Bujalik.
A group of Defence Forces continues to conduct a defensive operation to repel armed aggression.
Mechanized and tank units are defending in the north along the Pobeda-Glukhov line. The convoy of Russian invaders is stopped.
The 1st Detachment continues fighting on the outskirts of CHERNIGOV.
On the Sloboda direction, the defensive lines of Dovzhanka, Dvorechnaya, Artemivka, Kotuzivka, Kharkov, Dergachi, Dovzhik, Muraha, Akhtyrka, Summy.
The enemy has very low morale. An eloquent example is the defense of Sumy and Akhtyrka. In Akhtyrka, a small supply unit, armed only with small arms, mopped up the hometown from an assault battalion of Russians.
The military appeal to the citizens: each bottle of incendiary mixture from the roof on the enemy's tank, each shot from the hunting weapons at the occupant vehicle dramatically reduces the offensive appetite of the invaders, gives a significant advantage to the defense forces in repulsion of armed aggression.
