Ukraine has temporarily stopped importing electricity from Belarus as it prepares to operate its energy system in an isolated mode. This is evidenced by data from the operator of the unified energy system of Ukraine, the state-owned company NEC Ukrenergo.
According to the company website, at the moment, export and import of electricity from other countries are completely suspended.
This is happening routinely due to the fact that from February 24 to 26 will be the first stage of the test of the Ukrainian power system in isolated from the power systems of Russia and Belarus.
