Personnel of the National Police of Ukraine will switch to a reinforced regime due to the threat from Russia. The law enforcers will be in such a regime from 14 to 19 February. This is reported by the head of the National Police Ihor Klimenko.

During this period, the police will increase the number of patrols on the streets of Ukrainian cities, deploy additional situational centers, will take under protection the objects of critical infrastructure, public authorities and local authorities.

"For what: to respond more quickly to any threats to the security of citizens. The strengthened police regime is not an additional reason to panic. It's about protection and full preparedness. We protect, not panic," Klimenko explained.
