Five airliners of Ukraine's largest airline, Ukraine International Airlines, are departing from Boryspil to European airports. This is due to the requirements of lessors. According to avianews.com, the aircraft are recalled SASOF III and AWAS 36820 TRUST, which are Boeing 737-800.

A total of 23 aircraft in the fleet of three Ukrainian airlines - UIA, SkyUp and Bees Airline - are affected by the recall.

According to the online board of the Boryspil airport website, as of today, February 14, the UIA Kiev-Warsaw flight scheduled for 18:00 has already been canceled.

As a reminder, the situation arose from the announcement of the insurance companies on February 12 that they would stop covering risks when flying over Ukraine. The reason was statements in the Western media about a possible invasion of Russian troops. Because of this, some lessors are recalling planes from Ukraine.
