Due to the fact that a state of emergency has been imposed in many regions of Kazakhstan, Ukrainians are advised to refrain from traveling to this country. While the state of emergency is in force in the country, Ukrainians should not stay in places where there are a lot of people.

"Citizens who are on the territory of Kazakhstan should refrain from visiting places of mass gathering of people for the period of the state of emergency in the country," the Ukrainian embassy said in a statement.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also published recommendations to Ukrainian citizens who are in Kazakhstan.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine recommends that Ukrainian citizens who are in the territory of this country constantly monitor information about the development of the situation, to show increased vigilance and caution, strictly follow the instructions and orders of local authorities and law enforcement agencies, not to leave their place of residence without extreme necessity, always carry identification documents," the statement said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Ukrainians to register in the electronic system "DRUG".
