Ukraine has decided to introduce a third (booster) dose of the coronavirus vaccine. In particular, it will be given to patients who have undergone transplantation and HIV-infected people. About this, referring to the chief sanitary doctor of the country Igor Kuzin on the air of "Breakfast with 1+1".

 

"Now a decision has already been made and it will be made public in the near future - it is to carry out an additional dose for immunocompromised people," Kuzin said.According to him, we are talking about people who:

Are receiving hormone therapy,

have undergone transplantation,

HIV-infected.

 

"We will recommend an additional third dose for the full formation of immunity," - said Kuzin.

 

The chief medical officer stressed that the issue of the booster dose is still under consideration.

 

"Most likely, the booster dose will not be recommended until the middle, or the end of January next year. Right now it is not recommended," he summarized.
