The Ministry of Health reported that cases of the Omicron coronavirus strain have not yet been recorded in Ukraine. The Ministry will update the information.

Prime Minister Denis Shmygal instructed Health Minister Viktor Lyashko to update information regarding the new strain daily.

At the same time, cases of this strain are recorded in neighboring countries of Ukraine. In particular, in Russia and Romania. In Russia, coronavirus was detected in ten passengers arriving from South Africa, two of them with this strain.

In Belarus, Poland and Moldova, no cases of the new strain of coronavirus have been officially reported yet.
