No plans to tighten quarantine on New Year holidays - Lyashko

Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Lyashko said that there are no plans to tighten the quarantine for the New Year holidays.

"Ukraine is already in the adaptive quarantine, and by the New Year holidays the introduction of additional restrictions is not planned," Lyashko said on the air of "Channel 24".

"Last year at this time period there was a new wave. True, we then introduced quarantine restrictions after the holidays, it allowed us to delay the wave in time. I urge you to celebrate the New Year holidays in safety. In isolation with relatives, as well as a full course of vaccinations. This will allow us to look optimistically into the new wave", - added the Minister.

Earlier the Minister of Health noted an improvement in the epidemic situation in Ukraine, but does not exclude a new wave of Covid-19 epidemic. At the same time, the minister stressed that the epidemic is not over yet.
