Russian Foreign Ministry published correspondence with Germany and France on the "Normandy format"

The Russian Foreign Ministry has published the correspondence of its head Sergei Lavrov with his counterparts from Germany and France Heiko Maas and Jean-Yves Le Drian on the Normandy ministerial meeting, which was supposed to be held on November 11. However, Moscow refused because it was not satisfied with the draft final document, writes RBC-Ukraine.

According to the Russian Ministry, the decision to publish the diplomatic correspondence was taken to "avoid further speculation." In addition, the ministry said, the publication of the primary sources should exclude "a distortion of Russia's position and role" in the settlement of the conflict in Donbas and the approach to the Normandy meeting at the level of foreign ministers.
