The Canadian citizen, who has been a resident of Ukraine for more than 25 years, was already in charge of the publication from 2016 to 2018. Then he founded the specialized agency PLAN C. He said his first task as CEO is to thank the people who have made the Kyiv Post a globally recognized symbol of quality journalism.   

"Luke will handle the next stage of Kyiv Post's development as we pursue our ambitious plans to expand the publication. We very much hope to strengthen the Kyiv Post's position as a global voice of Ukraine. In the near future we will present an improved version of Kyiv Post under Luke's leadership," noted Kyiv Post owner Adnan Kiwan.
