More than 200 thousand Ukrainians were left without subsidies

About 200 thousand Ukrainian households have not received subsidies - they did not pass the test, but did not lose the right to utility allowance. About this said Deputy Minister of social policy Vitaly Muzychenko, the press service of the department in Facebook.

"About 200 thousand households out of 2.5 million, which were checked this year, did not pass the verification. But this does not mean that they have lost the right to a subsidy, because the situation may change. For example, the amount of savings in a deposit account may decrease or a previously unemployed person may become employed," said Muzychenko.

Ukrainians, mostly, were denied subsidies because of deposits over 100 thousand UAH, two or three or more living quarters in the ownership or the presence of able-bodied family members, who have not worked for years and are not registered at the employment center.

According to Muzychenko, the level of payment of housing and communal services by subsidy recipients in Ukraine is almost 98%, while throughout the country, this figure may amount to 87-88% in some periods.

He reminded that Ukrainians can get a subsidy even if they have debts for housing and communal services and overdue debt for more than two months. Then it is necessary to conclude an agreement on restructuring.
