The website of the Cabinet of Ministers has published resolution No. 1096 of October 20, 2021 according to which the heads of state authorities and educational institutions have been instructed to suspend from duty the employees whose compulsory vaccination against СOVID-19 is determined by the list of the Ministry of Healthcare and who refuse or evade such compulsory preventive vaccinations.
The document states that during such suspension the labour remuneration of employees and civil servants shall be paid in accordance with part one of article 94 of the Labour Code of Ukraine, part one of article 1 of the Law of Ukraine «On Salary» and part three of article 5 of the Law of Ukraine «On Civil Service», in other words without salary compensation.
Teachers and officials who are contraindicated to vaccination will not be suspended from work.
