The President of the European Council Charles Michel and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Ukraine today for the 23rd Ukraine-EU Summit. In the morning in the Mariinsky Palace they met with the President of Ukraine, UNN reports.
«The EU and Ukraine have deep and special ties. A mutually beneficial partnership that we need to develop. I want us to remain ambitious in our relationship. Let's explore what else we can do together,» von der Leyen said on Twitter.
At 11.25 the parties will sign a number of documents, after which they will talk to the media.
