Germany and France complicate entry rules for Ukrainians

Germany and France have imposed a number of restrictions on tourists from Ukraine – and these restrictions will not only affect unvaccinated Ukrainians.

So, in Germany last Friday included Ukraine in the list of the countries «high risk». This means that regardless of the purpose of the trip, only vaccinated Ukrainians will be able to enter the country. Also, before arriving in Germany, tourists must register at www.einreiseanmeldung.de and have a confirmation of registration upon entry.

At the same time, Germany does not recognize the CoronaVac vaccine, so the ban on entry will apply to some vaccinated Ukrainians. Only four vaccines have been recognized in the country – BioNTech / Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.

Also vaccinated with the vaccine CoronaVac equates to the unvaccinated and France. She moved Ukraine from the «green» zone to the «orange» zone at the end of last week. Thus, citizens of Ukraine will be able to get to France from the countries of the «red» and «orange zone» only in «urgent need». But vaccinated Ukrainians can enter the country without any problems.

In France, Pfizer / Comirnaty, Moderna, AstraZeneca / Vaxzevria / Covishield and Jansen / Johnson & Johnson recognize such coronavirus vaccines.
