The National Health Service (NHSU) has expanded the list of drugs included in the «Affordable Medicines» drug reimbursement program since October 1. , 62 drugs, 23 of them – free. This is stated in the message of the National Health Insurance Fund.

As of October 1, the list of drugs included in the government's Reimbursement Program «Available Drugs» has been expanded to include drugs for diabetes, epilepsy, mental and behavioral disorders.

It is noted that a total of 62 new drugs were added to the reimbursement program:

5 – for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, all free;

57 – for the treatment of mental and behavioral disorders, epilepsy, of which 18 – free.

It is specified that e-prescription drugs are available nationwide:

In more than 5,000 pharmacies and non-diabetic pharmacies;

In more than 4,900 pharmacies and pharmacies – patients with mental and behavioral disorders, epilepsy.

It is also specified that in order to receive these drugs under the «Available Medicines» program, an electronic prescription is required. It will be possible to get insulin in pharmacies under the «Available Medicines» program only by electronic prescription. And in September, it became known that the NHSU intends to add to the program «Affordable Medicines» drugs for patients with mental and behavioral disorders.
