Lithuania provides financial assistance for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers: what is provided in the new tranche

The Lithuanian government has approved a new financial aid package for Ukraine, part of which will be directed to the rehabilitation of the military.


According to Delfi, €12.7 million are expected to be allocated for projects and programs aimed at recovery and support of Ukraine, as well as the rehabilitation of military personnel.


In particular, €2.7 million will be allocated for the project “Renovation and Restoration of the Green Grove in Mykolaiv,” which involves the reconstruction of the school within 18 months.


It is also planned to allocate €10 million for the Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Wounded and War Victims in Ukraine program. These funds will be used to reconstruct the spinal cord injury rehabilitation center at Dnipro State University Hospital, the Unbroken department of the Lviv City Rehabilitation Center in the village of Briukhovychi, and to support institutions and organizations involved in rehabilitation and reintegration.
